PROTECTORS PREVAILING IN BRUTALITY:

Caretakers being indulged in destruction! The persons who have to rescue the victim transformed as victimizers! Light urging eyes suffering in darkness! Yes, it is an agonizing story of an educated elderly girl who was imprisoned in darkness not for days but for 4 years. The brutal victimizers were not her enemies but her own parents who brought her to this earth and looked after her for years together. Hemavathi, a 35 year old lady was rescued by Subramanya Nagar police in silicon city Bangalore from her distress of darkness in a lonely dark room without even enough food. There is a saying that, “bad children can born, but bad parents never occur”. But this event completely subverts this statement, because a healthy and educated girl was imprisoned with a silly reason by her own parents. Hemavathi was an intelligent girl since her childhood, who finished her high school days in Nirmala high school, by completing her graduation in commerce. If all would well, Hemavathi even planned of pursuing her CA course. She was even taking tutorial classes to other graduation students. Tempest destructed Hema’s life in the name of love affair! The girl who dreamt of leading a happy life with her boy was imprisoned by her father Renukappa and her brother, who is said as a mentally retorted by the neighbours. The girl was treated viciously by making her naked even without food. As the neighbours explained, the girl even used to yell with pain and hungry in the night. The relatives and the neighbours even were beaten back by her father and her brother when asked about her forcible house arrest. The victim’s mother Putta Gowramma even tried to commit suicide twice as she could not resist her husband’s cruelty regarding her daughter and herself too. The hostility however ended with the light of police! However, the neighbours and public finally opened up the eyes of society with the arrival of Malleshwaram police rescuing the girl from her house arrest, who was found in the most barbaric scenario inside a dark room even without clothes like an animal. Hemavathis is now admitted in Nimhans, who was completely mentally distress for her betterment of health. Dr. B.L Satish has cleared that, there is no mental illness with the girl but has kept her in ICU for a speedy recovery. The human rights commissioner Mr. Sunil Agarwal visited and has enquired about her health by assuring the needful action about the event. DCP Revanna has also visited the victim and affirmed that, the girl is getting well. But, the most tragic event is that, the city which is well-known for its civilized technocrats has kept such a barbaric attitude in its womb for years together and the educated literate being victimized is the real catastrophe.
