PROFESSIONAL PICTURIZATION BY PROLIFIC YOUNG NON PROFESSIONALISTS:
Catchy dialogues with easy going regional language, visualized intonation of the depiction of student life, 20 minutes of not only entertainment but a life saver, yes, it is the beauty of the short movie "play in" not formulated by well-known artists but by students. It is the dream of a young group of engineering students that is blossoming through out the world with the help of popular web youtube. The movie is framed by the civil engineering students of Vivekananda college of engineering from a small place named Puttur situated in the costal district of Dakshina Kannada of Karnataka. It is the urge of these students to do something special rather than their studies, as the science students especially the engineers are highly accused of running towards technology and software groups and in a way neglecting the motherly art.
The story revolves around the negative impacts of the modern competative world over the young students who are forced to fight with the huge whales like finding employment in a giant technological companies from the day they finish their studies. The movie is highly insightful, which goes beyond the psychological conditions of young generation who are caught between this spider web. The story at the end converts into an inspirational message for strengthening the weak minds of such disappointed who are even ready to sacrifice their lives.
Each and every part of the movie making is ably shaped by the stud itself and a young intelligent 21 years old Shiva Prasad Bhat, a final year civil engineering student has laid the foundation and has built the entire building with his efficient screenplay, direction and brilliant story. The captain Bhat still expresses his aspirations of directing big film projects as a hobby along with his profession. Lets also say all the best and hats off from ourside?
